Favorite Piece

I have to tell you all how this furniture refinishing first started. We went to visit some very dear friends that have become part of our family. We were all talking and Steve asked me if I would be willing to help him out on a project. He said he'd pay me.

I asked, "who needs there legs to be broken?" Just kidding. I told him I would be glad to help and that I would be glad to do it. He asked if I was interested in refinishing this cabinet that he had been working on for about 12 years. You read that right...12 years! I was up for the challenge. He dropped it off and I think it took me two weeks to complete. It is the photo above. Absolute beauty!

I hope this turns out to be a fun experience. This blogging thing looks like a lot of fun. I am going to list all projects I have worked and will be working on. This will help my customers appreciate the work that is being put into refinishing a piece. I want my sons to pick up where I leave off with this beautiful work of refinishing. In my eyes there is no difference between a painter artist or a furniture artist, it is all about the beauty of the piece.
