Whenever you are dealing with the public, it is wise to be specific on exactly what each customer wants. This will prevent any future problems. Words can mean different things to people. For example, to a customer the word "distress" may mean a sand through on the edges. But, I may think of it as marring the wood with different items to achieve a damaged/aged look. It is very important to be on the same page as the customer you are dealing with. Being clear, and specific will allow you to create the picture your customer is looking for. After all, your goal is to have returning customers. So it is crucial that every customer is a happy customer.

This small end table has both sand through and a "distressed" look. I sold this end table to my wife for $10.00. She got a great deal! LOL!
